I have 2 BNT switches which connect to Blades with ESXi 5.5 U2 installed. I have created number of vlans for the blades and can pass all of them from the ESXi to BNT switches except for vlan 1.
On the BNT switches I have the below tagging on all my functional ports.

I can pass vlans 16-50 and 3998-4000 from ESXi to BNT. I cannot pass only vlan 1 which is the native vlan. I understand from some sources that I need to change the PVID which is 1 on the BNT switches to some other number. I have heard that Native VLAN ID on ESXi/ESX VST Mode is not supported. If I need to change the PVID should it to a number that I am not going to use like eg PVID 70 or 80.Would that be a correct assumption and solution ?
