I have Virtual environment with ESXi 5.5 and using multiple guest VM with different OS(WIndows, Unix, etc) now a days we are facing an issue with RedHat Linux 6 x64.
We are using 2 VMXNET3 NICs on Unix OS, one for production and another for backup NIC and. Production VMXNET3 is working fine however Backup VMXNET3 NIC stop responding after sometime(in every 2-4 hours) and lost connectivity with Backup Master server.
We used to disabled and enabled the NICs at OS level then it start pinging but again stop responding in sometime.
We have upgraded VM hardware version 10 and Install latest VM tools but showing same error.
I am not sure why Production NIC working and Backup NIC stop pinging in sometime even we have used VMXNET3 for both Production and Backup.
Could you please let me know what could be the issue here.
