I have a customer with two servers with 4 nics, one is production server and the other is a backup server. I need to set the fastest possible link speed between the 2 servers as i need to move a lot of data (near 6tb of vm's to backup every week end, plus a db backup every night). One server is esx, the other is windows 2012 with veeam on it. At the moment no fault tollerance if the production server fails, but as now isn't required.
The customers switch desn't support lacp, but i'm interested to setup aggregation directly between the 2 servers.
Is it possible?
