We are trying to migrate 1 host from 1 uplink port-profile, letps say mgmt-uplink, to another, mgmt-uplink2, with same configuration. Why? Because a port-profile default max-port was configured at 32 and we needed to change this.
It does not change the value because it´s already in use so we wanted to migrate some host to a new one with the max ports set at 1024.
When we start the migrate process, we lose the ESXi host. The only thing we can see from the nexus 1000v console is that particular module was removed.
Adding new host from standard switch to mgmt-uplink2 works just fine. The issue occurs when we migrate from 1 to another. Like some internal binding stuff from vcenter side
Any suggestion?
