Host on vDS loses packets, work ok on vSS.

Hi,

I've set up vDS on my vCenter and now I want to add host to it. So i did it moving vmnic from vSS to vDS and vmk with management network to equivalent portgroup on vDS. After that ping to host looks like:

20:23:58 (0) ~ # ping 10.122.4.9

PING 10.122.4.9 (10.122.4.9): 56 data bytes

64 bytes from 10.122.4.9: icmp_seq=1 ttl=64 time=0.256 ms

64 bytes from 10.122.4.9: icmp_seq=3 ttl=64 time=0.372 ms

64 bytes from 10.122.4.9: icmp_seq=5 ttl=64 time=0.240 ms

64 bytes from 10.122.4.9: icmp_seq=7 ttl=64 time=0.192 ms

64 bytes from 10.122.4.9: icmp_seq=9 ttl=64 time=0.331 ms

64 bytes from 10.122.4.9: icmp_seq=11 ttl=64 time=9.055 ms

64 bytes from 10.122.4.9: icmp_seq=13 ttl=64 time=0.193 ms

--- 10.122.4.9 ping statistics ---

14 packets transmitted, 7 packets received, 50.0% packet loss

round-trip min/avg/max/std-dev = 0.192/1.519/9.055/3.077 ms

So i get icmp response for 50% of packets. Restoring Network on VMhost (vmk on vSS) and connectivity is good, no packet loss.

What could be a problem for such behavior?

Regards,

p.
