I am periodically asked to make some mods in our VMWare environment. I am definitely an inexperienced user, but I understand the environment at a basic level. We have two vSwitches - vSwitch0 on a 10.0.0.x IP address range and vSwitch1 on a 10.0.10.x IP address range (this is our DMZ). We need to backup the virtual machine on the DMZ. We would like to do this to a NAS device. Is there a way to add the NAS device to vSwitch1? We tried making an attachment via USB but could never get the device to connect to the VM from from the host.
