Hi,
I am new here and new to vvmware esxi. I am having a problem and i was willing if someone can help me with it. Thanks in advance.
Our network structure is we have a verizon FIOS router that has 5 static ip and that Static NAT these static ips 72.64.x.x to lan with 192.168.x.x and vice versa
on the other hand, our Active directory and all our servers/users/email server is behind a cisco RVS4000 VPN that is on a wan static ip of 192.16.x.x and convert this to a LAN of 10.0.x.x .
I have the esxi host behind the VPN and its all the virtual machine now can see both the active directory/email server as well as also see internet.
The problem i have now. There is two vmachine that need to have RDP access. Also the way our router works, that it assign the static ip to the class of 192.168.x.x , which on my end the Esxi is on the 10.0.x.x...
My question, How i can fix this problem and have vmware communicate and get remove access from the vpn to the 192.168.x.x knowing that the esxi host ip is 10.0.2.105 ??? Also this machine we are running the vmware host on comes with 2 NIC, i dont know if this can help or not. I am currently just connecting it to 1nic from the vpn itself... because if i connected directly to the other router that ends with 192.168.x.x , it wont see the active directory/email server etc..
I appreciate all the help in this, i have been hitting my head in the wall the last few days and i cant figure out what i should be doing.
