I have ESXi server 6.0 u3. 4 nic ports are connected to the management port ( VLAN 10). no VM on the cluster. now ping sending another from VLAN to management ESXi IP so ping breaks occasionally. ( sometimes request timed out ). I added a nic to the ESXi host and 3 nic passive now. and notebook connected to physical switch then ping sending to management ESXi IP address so same situation again some times ''request timed out'' I send ping another device ping is working. no ''request timed out''
What could be the problem? nic driver. ESXi image? or physical network?
