Teaming Uplinks to Hosts

Hiya.

We have a scenario where we have 2 x 1gb NICs on each of our hosts and this is not going to provide enough bandwidth.

Id like to stick with the default "Route Based on Originating Port ID" for the teaming as there is less work to do on the external switches

This project is still in design.

we have a couple of options:

1.Purchase a PCI card for each Host that has 2 x10gb NICS, then create a trunk from each to 2 separator Physical switches

2. Purchase a PCI card with 2 extra 1gb NICs and  and then team all 4(2 already on Host) to 2 physical switch(2 uplinks to each)

if I select the later can I use "Route Based on Originating Port ID" for all 4 NICs even though 2 go one physical switch and 2 another.
